I searched Meetup and see if there were any groups of Interest to me. I found a group called Nevada Gun Group, that sounded promising. I joined to become a member, and started receiving notices of their upcoming Meetups.
I received notice of an upcoming Meetup that sounded interesting, and was at a date and time I might be able to attend. I didn’t want to click, the green check mark, that I was going, because I wasn’t sure if I could make it. I was unfamiliar with the proper protocol. Should I “check” that I was going, and maybe not show up? Or, was it okay to just show up?
One of our readers shared with me, for those of you who do not know, that the popular shooting area near milepost 103 on Hwy 95 (north of Corn Creek road) is part of Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument and is closed to target shooting and hunting.
Please be aware if you might be planning a trip to that area for shooting or hunting, that you could be subject to a citation.
