In order to add an Event you will need to be a member of TheShootersLife.com. Signing up is easy using the Subscribe form in the left column. You will need to click “Activate” in an email sent to you to confirm your subscription.
You may now “Add Your Own Event.”
The form is pretty much self-explanatory and easy to fill out. But, here are a few tips to help explain some things.
Time & Date
For a single event recurring weekly or monthly, put Start & End on the same day.
Then under “Event Series” select frequency, click on “the same day” and change to “a different day”, then make selection under “first” and “Monday”.
Event Categories. If you have an idea for a Category that would be better suited to your Event, let me know.
A generic name for any group of people meeting together, but not necessarily an official “Meetup” group.
An event where the participants have the opportunity to win something based on their performance. Such as a trophy, prices, or money. Often called a “Trophy Match”.
An event that does not necessarily include competition. Such as a training course or education class.
An event where participants compete against one another for score or position. These matches are for fun, and do not include anything for winning or participating.
Click in the “Search from existing tags” box and begin typing your desired tag. Currently you are not able to add your own Tags. If you do not see a Tag suitable for your event in the “Event Tags” list, let me know and I will add it through the back end.
